This is my original watercolour painting "Fairy Queen".
The Queen of the fairies gently holds out her hand to the bumble bee that has been enjoying the nectar from the pretty pink foxgloves. This painting was inspired by the foxgloves that i grow in my own garden. I wonder if the fairy queen comes to visit when i'm not looking?
This painting took many hours to complete, with many layers of paint using the smallest of brushes to get the finest details. The fairy has little accents of gold coloured paint, on her wings and dress and the golden crown she wears, that shimmer in the light. It is painted on the highest quality hot pressed watercolour paper using high quality watercolour paints.
Painting measures approx 12.5cms high x 16cms wide.
It will be mounted professionally at no extra cost and be ready for you to frame when you receive it.
