To snow or not to snow?

At the end of 2022 i wanted to paint some designs for Christmas cards. The red squirrel was one of them. When i had finished it i wasn't sure if i should put some snow on or not. What a dilemma! If i started to put snow on i could change my mind and ruin the painting! That's when my fabulous husband came up with the idea of painting the snow on a clear sheet of acetate and placing it over the the painting to see if i liked it. And i did!! the picture on the right is the finished painting - with snow.
